SUMGUY’S offers a complete on demand solution of products and services to all aspects of automated retail business systems for merchants that have as few as one POS and one location, up to merchants that have 50 POS lanes and 20 locations.

According to IHL consulting, excluding healthcare, Small Business Retail accounts for an estimated 3.5 million POS locations in the US alone. This market has all but been ignored until recently because of the cost associated with serving such a distributed and diverse market.
In the past, providing intelligent managed solutions for Retail POS to the segment of small business did not have the economy of scale that made it economically feasible or attractive. However, with the cost and availability of broadband technology and compact, integrated processing power of the IBM SurePOS Retail systems, along with the recognition and strength of the major vendors in the computer and software industry, it is now possible to bring the same level of sophistication at the POS to the small business retailer that larger consumer retail enterprises enjoy.
